Lame Ass Guy Looking For God

.                            Or Does He Have A God And He's Lame

 Ya I was OK with this for quiet some time. The thing is you never know what God has in store for you every dang day you wake up. My life was good that August morning. Another perfect day in beautiful San Diego wasn't it God. I've got my first cup of coffee taking a stroll around the block Just five blocks from the warm Pacific Ocean. I'm talking to God about how grateful I am, and every thing is going pretty good.. But hey we all could use a couple of things, right, I guess I ask for the wrong thing

  My life change forever in a heart beat on that beautiful morning.

 Their was someone else praying that early August Morning and she was down the alley. I was only about 10 steps from the alley, all I had to do was to keep walking on by that alley. But I glanced down that dang alley. The ally that changed my life, the walk that changed my life, The girl that changed my life, I mean WTF God.
  I looked down the alley and I saw something that as a man disgusted me more than anything in this world. A man hitting on a young 5ft2 blonde haired woman. Could have been my daughters age, 23 at the time.
 I didn't pull out my cell phone, my feet just started walking down that alley. He started saying something filled with profane words, I was just sizing him up, long hair in phony tail, prison tats, dirty hair, pocked marked skin, about 5ft11.crazy eyes.
 My heart was racing.I heard nothing. I'm 6ft2 180pounds surfed and played sports in my city. I know how to talk care of myself.. I have a daughter about this girls age and it's in the back of my mind, what if
  It was over in a minute. All I knew was he couldn't breath and was getting in the car, I grabbed the girl as he was starting to drive off in reached for my cell phone. I didn't realize it, but my white tank top and blue shorts were now all red. He had cut me and stuck me in the left lung. I didn't feel it.
 As I reached for my phone I looked up and this punk that I thought was driving away went forward and then threw it into reverse and hit me with his car.I went flying into trash cans.

The girl came over and hugged me and said "I was praying for God to send an Angle and he sent me a Warrior for God"...I sure didn't see it that way. I said one last prayer."God don't let me die in this alley today"

I had to learn how to do something else for a living. At 52years old I have chronic pain, neck, and back. I learned Social Media, SEO, and website building. My SSI people are fighting me. My baby girl is getting married in August to a fathers dream for his daughter a really good man. Thing is if anyone might be able to throw some work my way I sure could use it for August. Sometimes I don't feel like much of a man.

Though over 50, but trim and in good shape, Craig went to the rescue of an unknown young woman being beaten by a druggie in an alley.

Take your conversion rates to a whole new level with split testing

 Split testing is critical to almost any business. If you’re not doing it - you really should be - and if you are doing it, the chances are that you should be doing it even more.
Without split testing, you are leaving massive amounts of money on the table every single day. I say this with absolute certainty. You’re not ‘possibly’ leaving money on the table, you are ‘definitely’ leaving money on the table. It sounds like a bold claim, but it’s absolutely true.
Whether it’s a single page sales-letter site, a mini site, an AdSense site, a blog, or a mammoth content site, there are always ways to tweak things and increase the percentage conversion rate if it’s a product that is being sold, the sign-up rate if it’s a membership site, or the number of click-throughs if it’s a site that earns revenues from advertising.
So, what exactly is split testing?
Split testing is simply the process of testing out different versions of something to see which one performs best. It could be a direct mailing piece, a billboard advertisement, a TV commercial, a web page, an e-mail, or anything else where you want to find out the differing results based on one or more changes to the original.
From an Internet Marketer’s perspective it could be two different web pages you are testing to see which design works best. It could be testing one headline on a sales letter against another, or finding out which of two or more banner adverts brings in the most orders.
Ideally, split testing is done with a fairly large number of visitors. If you get very low traffic, your split testing numbers may be inaccurate, but split testing even with low traffic is usually better than not doing it at all, it can just often take longer to get a statistically valid result.
You can perform split testing in several different ways.
If you’re running pay-per-click adverts through Google AdWords, you’ll find there’s a split testing system built in! If you’re split testing things like sales page copy, a form on a squeeze page, or the CTR (click through rate) of various placements of ads on your pages, then you’ll need to develop your own methods.
There are many scripts and online services available that can help you deliver different versions of a web page to visitors, and then measure conversions from each version. If you don’t want to use a script or online service (some of which can be quite expensive), you can do the same thing yourself by rotating pages on your own.
You’ll probably want to leave a page up for about a week or longer and record conversions. Then put up a different page and record the conversions from that version. Just keep in mind the fact that conversions may be different, simply because of the day of the week or the time of day, so if you take a page down in the middle of the day, or the middle of the week, your results may be skewed inaccurately.
The importance of split testing can’t be over-emphasized. Something as simple as changing a single word in your headline, or changing the color of your order button might change conversions by several percent.
There have been stories of a single word doubling the conversion rate of a product. Sometimes changing something seemingly very trivial, such as the color of the words ‘Buy Now’ on an order button can drastically increase conversions and sometimes more fundamental changes, such as using a different font for the body copy on your web site, can make an amazing difference.
If you use a web design tool such as XSitePro, that makes it very easy to change the overall look of a site in an instant, it’s worth testing different page backgrounds, different header graphics, different navigation menus, etc.
And don’t kid yourself that you know best, because even the experts get it wrong sometimes.
A famous offline advertising agency was working on a major ad campaign for a product. They developed several different versions of the ad, and then asked each of their ad executives to give their guess as to which one would perform better, and why.
After each executive had picked which they thought would be the winner they ran the complete series and gauged the results. The results proved a huge surprise. Of the dozen or so executives they asked, not a single one guessed the ad that actually performed best!
Even these high-paid ad executives with years of experience were unable to judge which ad would perform best. This is why split testing is so crucial. No matter how well you think you know your market, there will always be things you can’t judge on your own.
Over time split testing will ensure that you are using the highest converting version of your site possible. It can be a long and drawn out process, but it is one that can reap massive rewards.
Imagine you had a web site that was converting at the rate of 1%. If you ran a series of ten tests consecutively that managed to increase the response by just 20% each time, what do you think the final response rate would be.
It would be a staggering 6.2%.
This demonstrates the incredible power of split testing. Just by running a series of small tests that each had a minor impact, the response was multiplied by over 600%.
So, get testing, then test some more, and continue testing until you can’t think of anything else that could possibly improve the response rate

10 Business Plan Words Every Manager Needs to Know By Heart

Two months ago, I used this column to suggest that we need to find a better term for business planning that doesn't conjure up fear and dread like the mention of a high-school paper or graduate thesis. Business planning is supposed to be about managing and steering a company. In the 16 readers posted below that column, I saw several valiant efforts to suggest new phrases (road map and business blueprint, for example). But I ended up agreeing with several people who disagreed with my basic thesis. They essentially said business planning is too important to mess with changing the words.

So I've changed my mind -- again -- and come up with this list of essential business planning words every manager should know:
1. Business plan: An organized collection of milestones, tasks, assumptions and basic business numbers. It covers strategy and details what's supposed to happen when, who's in charge of what, how progress is measured, when money is to be spent and from where, and when money is expected to come in. It isn't a document; it's a plan. If it isn't reviewed and revised monthly, then it won't be very useful. So it has to be practical and just big enough to serve the business need.

2. Business planning: Steering a company using a cyclical process. Plan, review and revise as necessary to optimize. Business planning is management.

3. Business strategy: A combination of strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats, target market, business offering and product-market fit. Focus is vital. Who isn't in your market and what you're not offering can be more useful information than who is and what you are offering. All of this can be expressed in bullets, slides, a few key paragraphs or any other way that keeps strategy and focus top of mind.

4. Business forecast: A simplified, manageable set of assumptions about future cash flow, including sales, cost of sales, expenses, assets, liabilities and capital. It isn't about predicting the future; it's about connecting the dots on assumptions and drivers in your monthly projections over the next year and your annual forecasts for the subsequent two years. It focuses on what drives the key components, expressed as money. Those drivers include factors like capacity, sales and marketing activities, management compensation, direct costs, and so forth. The goal is to lay out connections between key assumptions in projections spread month by month as expected amounts. For example, you would project how direct costs look as a percentage of sales. Usually the relationships are more important than the actual numbers. So, to follow the example, if your actual sales are higher than expected, you can tell from your forecast that direct costs also will be higher than expected. Companies with a good forecasting process rarely get through a month without some change in the forecast.

5. Strategic plan: A business plan that leaves out the nuts and bolts.

6. Operations plan: A business plan that leaves out the strategy.

7. Marketing plan: A business plan that leaves out the overall company financial strategy.

8. Annual plan: A business plan that leaves out plans for the second and third year.

9. Bank-ready business plan:

a. A document created as output from a business plan, formatted for easy reading and highlighting past financial performance and current financial position. Bankers look for payment history and assets backing the loan.

b. When used to describe a canned boilerplate document somebody is selling, as in turnkey or ready-made, it is just sleazy sales hype for a bad product. Buyer beware: A ready-made business plan is always a waste of money.

10. Investor-ready or funding-ready business plan:

a. A document or pitch created as output from a business plan, describing a business investors will be interested in based on the specifics of that business. The most common and essential highlights are management team, product-market fit, potential market, potential growth, defensibility (some hard-to-copy elements like technology or knowhow), scalability and potential return for investors. No matter how brilliant, beautiful or creative it might be, it isn't investor ready -- and never will be -- if it doesn't describe a business with real prospects for investors
